SHOULD LOW BEAM WORK EVERYTIME I START MY ENGINE?

THE LIGHTS FIRE UP EVERYTIME i start my engine! what can i do? the GT suppose to have auto light!, this thing is lighting even if there is only sun and nothing else? this happens to your opel gt? if no tell me if there is a new upgrade program from Gm to upgrade the lighting feature for LOW BEAM, please
am desperate! ???
